Stevie Carey
PRoject Manager
Born in New England and raised in California, Stevie was thrilled to settle in Maine after graduating from college to be closer to family, friends and the outdoors.
Having earned her M.S. in Project Management as a member of the Roux Institute’s inaugural class, Stevie joined the Blaze team in December of 2022 to help steer the ship on all things project management and internal operations.
She approaches project management at Blaze as an outsider of agency life and leads with questions, intent on seeking input and consensus from stakeholders before diving deep in processes and structures. As the second member to Blaze’s Ops team, she is harnessing the power of project management tools and systems to bring actionable business insights to the agency and its clients.
Outside of Blaze, Stevie is building the community she wishes to see in Maine by co-hosting an inclusive knitting club on Wednesdays (@wipmaine for more info!), and bowling with friends in a rec league. You can catch her skiing in the winter and ocean swimming (almost) every day in the summer!
