Eli Grober
Senior Copywriter
Eli is a writer with experience across many mediums and platforms. At Blaze, he serves as the agency’s in-house senior copywriter. As an established contributor to The New Yorker, former staff writer for The Tonight Show, and longtime freelancer, he brings an expert combination of humor and smart, tightly-constructed prose to his work. Over the years, Eli has honed his ability to both develop and write in voices that best suit the needs of his clients.
Eli believes that any writing–-personal or professional, creative or technical—is always made better through collaboration. Editing, feedback, and communication are invaluable tools in working toward a final draft.
In his personal life, Eli is an avid home cook (and former bartender!) He’s also run three marathons, which is more than enough for now. And as a former lifeguard on the beaches of the Saco Bay, Eli is thrilled to be back in Maine—this time without a bright red whistle.
Eli is currently at work on his first book, a collection of satirical essays, forthcoming in fall 2023.
