Kayla Collins
Account Strategist
Kayla was born and raised in the Portland area and attended the University of Maine at Orono. She finished her business classes at the University of Mannheim, in Germany.
Kayla continued her education at Maine School of Law where she was president of the Women’s Law Society and secretary of the Student Bar Association. She interned at the District Attorney’s office and the Maine ACLU, and argued for Maine Law’s Trademark Moot Court team in New York City. After graduating with her JD, Kayla practiced business and family law in the Portland area, but soon realized law wasn’t ultimately her calling. Switching gears to pursue an entirely new endeavor isn’t always easy, but Blaze afforded the ideal opportunity. At the agency, Kayla blends pragmatism and practicality (with a healthy dose of creativity) in managing a wide range of projects. She thrives in a fast-paced and technology forward environment and believes collaboration and idea sharing are imperative to success.
When Kayla's not working, she loves to explore new places, try new cuisine, and explore the beautiful Maine outdoors with her husband, Chase, and two rescue dogs, Jobie and Jackson.
