When Maine Law came to Blaze looking for digital marketing support, we knew we needed to first understand the unique challenges and opportunities facing the school and the state of law school admissions at large.
During our research phase, we discovered a line in a letter from the new dean that stated that it was time to “reimagine what law school can be.” With that inspiring goal in mind, we began to devise a communication strategy that highlighted the ways in which Maine Law is leading the way with its experiential curriculum and unique, timely offerings like their privacy law certificate and refugee and human rights clinic. We then created a yearlong editorial plan and high-level recommendations on messaging before crafting a Facebook and paid search campaigns to drive qualified traffic to the site.
Through extensive A/B testing to optimize ad imagery and copy, we saw results nearly 75% higher than industry averages, significant increases to website traffic and, most importantly, a record-breaking number of applications. A happy verdict all around.
