DemerBox first engaged Blaze in 2016 when they were in start-up mode. By designing a great sounding boombox that is as rugged as it is good looking, the crew at DemerBox earned a reputation as the cool kids on the block of the Bluetooth speaker world. But good buzz only gets you so far, which is why DemerBox was in need of a partner to help take its marketing efforts to the next level.
In addition to helping them with some e-commerce fundamentals (website optimizations, SEO enhancements and other traffic-driving efforts), we helped them prioritize customer segments. These initiatives helped increase site sessions and product sales, working within DemerBox’s then-startup-sized budget to make some serious noise for our favorite speaker brand.
When your brand strategy is focused on the right audience, you can be pleasantly surprised by who can find you. In the case of DemerBox, a campaign targeting “overlanders” caught the attention of country music star Zac Brown. Zac became a huge fan and he is now a part owner in the company. DemerBox re-engaged Blaze post-partnership to develop a strategic marketing plan across sales channels, content plans and more.
